The markets worth knowing
- 1X2: home win, draw or away win. Simple and the most liquid.
- Double chance: two outcomes in one bet, lower price, fewer surprises.
- Over/under goals: you back the total, not the winner.
- Both teams to score (BTTS): handy when two attacking sides meet.
- Handicap: gives a goal start to the weaker team to balance the price.
Corners, cards and player specials appear on bigger fixtures. Smaller NPFL or PSL games often have only the main markets.
Reading decimal odds
Decimal odds show your total return per unit staked. The maths is stake times odds. Example only: a 1,000 NGN stake at 2.50 returns 2,500 NGN, which is 1,500 profit plus your stake. The implied chance is 1 divided by the odds, so 2.50 means the price assumes about 40%.
If you prefer fractional odds, switch the format in your account settings.
Premier League, NPFL and PSL
The EPL gets the deepest market list and the most live coverage. NPFL matches are popular with Nigerian players but carry thinner markets and less pre-match data, so smaller stakes make sense. In South Africa, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns games pull the most interest; Soweto derby weekends see the busiest slips.
Remember the calendar: European leagues pause in summer, while the PSL and NPFL calendars differ. Check fixtures on 1win rather than guessing.
Accumulators without the regret
An accumulator (express) multiplies odds across picks, and one wrong leg sinks the whole slip. Many bonus rules require accumulators with a minimum price per leg, read them on the bonus page. A system bet covers some losing legs at the cost of a lower top return.
